Prodotto nella seconda meta degli anni ’40 in due referenze 2721 e 2723, rispettivamente 35mm e 32mm di diametro, il Jaeger-LeCoultre Triple Calendar ha ispirato il moderno Master Calendar.
Esteticamente il quadrante è perfettamente bilanciato, permettendo una lettura facile e intuitiva. Due aperture simmetriche appena sotto il logo mostrano giorno e mese in grassetto rosso, mentre su un anello esterno, è indicata la data.
Ciò che rende particolare questo modello è il fatto che giorno e mese sono indicati in francese. Ciò non incrementa drammaticamente il suo valore ma rende l’orologio più caratteristico.
All’interno di una cassa dal disegno molto elegante grazie anche alle anse a goccia, il movimento a carica manuale, forse il calibro 464 o P484. In ogni caso un insieme molto attraente e dal design impeccabile considerando i suoi quasi 70 anni di età.

Aesthetically, the dial is perfectly balanced, allowing an easy and intuitive reading. Two symmetrical openings just below the logo show the day and month in bold red, while an outer ring, indicates the date.
What makes special this model is the fact that the day and month are indicated in French. This does not dramatically increase its value but makes the watch more characteristic.
Inside a very elegant case with its tear-drop lugs, the manually wound movement, perhaps the caliber 464 or P484. In each case a very attractive and well designed example, considering its almost 70 years.
